Katherine Flores

Katherine Flores, age 92, of Toledo, passed away November 23, 2021 at 1:25 a.m. Katherine was born October 28, 1929 in Shannon to Murel and Fannie (Mabry) Morris. She was employed with TARTA for more than 25 years retiring in the mid to late 80's. Katherine was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses since 1976 in Toledo, Ohio. Katherine never met a stranger, and freely spread joy, love, and kindness to all.

In addition to her parents, Katherine was also preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, David Flores; Daughter Kathleen Jenkins; Granddaughter Michelle D. Jenkins; Sisters: Odessie Sullivan, Earline Denwiddie, Mary Boxley, Hazel Wood. Brothers: Albert, Earnest, Calvin, Travis, George, John, & Charles Morris. She is survived by her Daughter Leona (Dennis) Odoms, Daughter Sonja Cruse; Stepdaughters; Alexandria Flores and Angela Flores-Smith; Sister, Ruth (Roy) Barringer, Special friends, Mrs. Anne (Art) Walker, and Mrs. Roberta (Harold) Davis, and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and friends.

The family will receive guests Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions.
