Katarina Adams

Katarina Adams, age 73, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Friday, April 10, 2009 at the Lutheran Home of Toledo surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 2, 1936 to Anton and Mesa Smiderkal in Austria. Katarina was an attentive wife and loved to go out to eat, especially pizza. She also had a sweet tooth. Katarina loved jewelry and shopping and was an avid gardener. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Walter Adams, Sr. Katarina is survived by her children, Cindy (Thomas) Welsh, Walter (Julie) Adams, Jr. and Anthony (Sharon) Adams; grandchildren, Chelsea, Candace, Brittany, Anthony and Jaime; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday from 3- 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
