Kasey R. Shook

Kasey R. Shook, age 34, of Toledo, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, January 18, 2018 at home. She was born on January 21, 1983 to Sharon Shook in Corona. California. Kasey was very creative and liked to write poetry. She loved her dogs, music and being around people, she never met a stranger. Kasey had a lot of love in heart, was very compassionate and genuine. She was a great mom, daughter, partner and friend and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Kasey is survived by her loving daughter, Skyleigh Cook; mom, Sharon Brown; partner, Lisa Zilbauer; many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Grant and Trula Shook.

The family will have a Celebration of Life to honor Kasey on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at First Unitarian Church, 3205 Glendale Rd., Toledo, Ohio 43614 with gathering following the celebration until 6:00 p.m. at church.
