Karl O. Lampkin

Karl O. Lampkin, age 60, of Toledo, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2013. He was born on January 12, 1953 to Earl and Michiko (Katayama) Lampkin. Karl graduated from Macomber V.T.H.S. in 1972, having earned many national titles and awards in athletics. Following high school he attended T.U. then worked as a professional machinist-welder throughout his entire life. Karl was an award winning drag racing enthusiast. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors. Currently Karl is an Ohio Deputy Marshall.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Korrin (Gary) Schafer; siblings, William (Becky), Joy (William) Neiderman, Ralph (Karen); sister-in-law, Krista; many loving nieces, nephews and dear friends. In addition to his parents, Karl was preceded in death by his brother, Mitchell.

The family will receive guests on Thursday, June 20, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home on Thursday at 7:00 p.m.
