Karen Rose

Karen May Rose, 70, of Toledo, Ohio went to be with the Lord on April 25, 2025. Karen was born on January 18, 1955 in Toledo, Ohio to George and Lara (McCullough) Timmons. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, David O. Timmons Sr; sister, Laurie A. Porus; grandmother, Edna Irene McCullough; and her nephew, Nathaniel Timmons. 

Karen revolved her life around her husband, children, and grandchildren. She was a loving, caring wife and mother and she had the ability to make everyone fall in love with her. Karen loved family time and family outings like camping and cookouts, and she loved all things Mickey Mouse. 

Karen is survived by her husband of 24 years, Thomas "Bud" Rose; children, Tim (Melissa) Gowing, Joe (Tiffani) Gowing, Laura (Jason) Tate, Alexis (James) Florence, Desera Rose Brown, Hallie (Donnie) Sattler, Jen (Matt Riley) Rose, and Donna Boyce, 26 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren, brothers: George (Linda) Timmons, Terry (Karen) Timmons, Dale Timmons, Tom (Wendy) Timmons and sister-in-law: Penny Timmons. 

The family will receive guests on Thursday, May 1, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Friday, May 2, 2025 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - West Sylvania Chapel, 3655 King Rd, Toledo, where a Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 pm on Friday. Burial will immediately follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
