June Knight Flower

June K. Flower, age 82, of Perrysburg, passed away Sunday, November 18th, 2018 at Heartland of Perrysburg. She was born May 7th, 1936 to Josiah E. and Ella May (Chawgo) Knight in Buffalo, New York. June enjoyed being around people, especially her family, and had a great sense of humor. She liked watching football, and was always up for a good card game. In her younger years she enjoyed bowling, golfing, and artistic endeavors. Most of all June was a devoted mother and grandmother, and lived enjoying the small pleasures of life.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Bruce, Rodney and Wayne Knight. June is survived by her children, David (Jennifer) Flower, Cheryl (Gregory) Locher and Joel (Nicole Paxson) Flower; grandchildren, Samantha, Rachel, Elizabeth, Alexander, and Nicholas Flower, and Samuel, Caroline and Madeline Paxson; former daughter-in-law, Cyndi (Kirk) Schutter; brother, Norman (Betty) Knight; and many nieces and nephews.

Private Graveside Services are being held for June per her request. Newcomer – Southwest Chapel (419-381-1900) assisted the family with professional services. The family has invited everyone to Celebrate June's life to an Open House on Friday, November 23, 2018 from 2:30 – 5:30 p.m. at the Black Cloister, 619 Monroe St., Toledo.
