June Marie (Bailey) Rogers

Heaven welcomed another angel on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 10:03 a.m., at age 84, June Marie (Bailey) Rogers, took her final journey from this earth to be with her savior Jesus Christ. She fought so bravely to the very end surrounded by her loving family and friends. June was born November 28, 1936 in Franklin to Raymond and Rebecca (Ethridge) Hicks.

She was a faithful member of Heritage Church of God. June was employed with the H&R Block and National Car Rental for many years. In her free time June enjoyed arts and crafts. She will be remembered for her phenomenal cooking skills and her kind hearted spirit.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Michael (Mary Ann) Bailey, Kenneth Bailey, Thomas (Rosemarie) Bailey; step-children, Deborah (Joy) Rogers-Holsten, Donna Salah, Robert Rogers, Jr., and Terri L. Leonard; grandchildren, Michelle, May, Marcus, Chad, Kendra, Derek, Tom, Chris, Donald, Kevin; step-grandson, Tony (Angela) Rogers; and several great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and siblings, June was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert M. Rogers; son, Daniel Ray Bailey Sr.; grandson, Daniel "Boonie" Bailey Jr.;

The family will receive guests Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Heritage Church of God where the family will receive guests at 9:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kind Heart Hospice in June's memory.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Kind Heart Hospice and Rosemarie Bailey for their care, compassion, and love to June making her final days comfortable.
