Julia Joanne Vallejo

Julia Joanne Vallejo passed away peacefully at home in Toledo, Ohio at the age of 64. During her short illness, she was surrounded and cared for by her children, Roberto DeSantos and Jesus Rivera; grandchildren, Maranda LaVely, Brandon DeSantos, Jesus Rivera, Jr., Madison DeSantos, Makenzie DeSantos, Marissa DeSantos and Carlos DeSantos; and great-grandchildren, Freya DeSantos, Theodore MacArthur, Sebastian MacArthur, Marcelina Rivera and Ignacio Rivera. She is also survived by her siblings, Armando, George, Andy, Jessie, Connie, Becky and Margie. Julia was preceded in death by her parents; son, Miguel; and brothers, Mike, Marin and Phillip.

"Nana" loved nothing more than her grandchildren's laughter and a fresh hot coffee. Julia had an enormous love and understanding for animals. A true backbone to this family. She will be deeply missed.

The family will receive guests Friday, January 14, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Friday at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Toledo Area Humane Society in Julia's memory.
