Julia Marie Majo

Julia Marie Majo, of South Toledo, passed away at the age of 96 on June 26, 2015, at Ridgewood Manor.
Julia was born to Frank and Elizabeth (Harydu) Molnar on July 6, 1918 in Lorain, Ohio. She was the youngest of 6 children, and the first in the family to be born in America. In Lorain, she attended St. Mary Academy. She met her late husband, Bernard Majo, while employed in the Lorain office of Toledo Shipbuilding. Bernard Majo was the manager of the Toledo office of Toledo Shipbuilding. They married in 1946 and were married 58 years until he died in 2005. They had one son, James F Majo, who passed away February 13, 2013.
She is survived by three grandchildren, Jeremiah (Emma) Majo, Jennifer (Dennis) Prater, and Joshua Majo (Sandy Redder), and 7 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated, Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church, 4201 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo, OH 43614.
Memorials may be made to St Patrick's of Heatherdowns Church or the charity of the donor's choice.
