Judy L. Cox, age 66, of Temperance, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2015 where she was surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 8, 1949 in Calloway, Kentucky to Floyd and Ruby (Lawson) Willis. Above everything, Judy truly enjoyed caring for her family, her church and her beloved pets.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 48 years, Mike Cox; mother, Ruby Willis; two sons, Jim (Chantel) and Joe (Jennifer) Cox; grandchildren, Kameron, Kaleb, Joshua, Jacob and Julia Cox; four sisters, Betty Willis, Kathy Suchocki, Sherry Willis and Patty Hubbard; three brothers, Eddie, Bobby and Jeffrey Willis; many nieces and nephews who adored her. She was preceded in passing by her father, Floyd and brother, Jerry.
The family will receive guests on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Shelton Park Church of God, 8702 Douglas Rd., Temperance, MI at 11:00 a.m. The family will also receive guests an hour before the funeral service on Wednesday. Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Roselawn Memorial Park in LaSalle, MI.
