After a long battle with dementia/Alzheimer's disease, Judy Lynne Konrad, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2021 at the Goerlich Center. She was born on October 8, 1942 to Ralph and Ruth (Archer) Palmer in Toledo, OH. Judy graduated in 1960 from DeVilbiss High School. She began her working career as a dental assistant. Shortly after, Judy shifted her professional career to Accounts Receivables and Collections retiring in 2008 from Seaway Scaffold.
Judy loved music and dancing. She had a great love for animals, especially her dogs. She had a special fondness for Dalmatians, having rescued several over the years. Judy also developed a love of birds later in life, particularly cockatiels. She loved going to estate sales and garage sales, usually with her cousin, Jo Ann, who would come to town from California. Judy's smile, spirit and caring nature will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Left to cherish Judy's memory are her three children, Julie (Russ), Mark (Dyan) and Jennifer (Tracey); 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Jan (Tom) and Suzy (Thayne); and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
The family would like to give a heartfelt Thank You to the caregivers both at home and the Goerlich Center who helped us navigate this journey with Judy.
Judy's family will be honoring her life privately. Newcomer – Northwest Chapel, Toledo (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.
