Judith A. Cross, 66, went to be with the Lord on January 11, 2013. She was born on January 1, 1947 to the late Agnes and Leonard Bunker in Toledo, Ohio.
Judi was a 1965 graduate of Woodward High School. She was a PBX Operator at Toledo Hospital for 13 years. Judi enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was known as the "Neighborhood Mom", always welcoming all of the neighborhood kids into her home. Judi was notorious for her generosity to all.
In addition to her parents, Judi was preceded in death by her husband, Richard P. Cross and nephew, Michael Bunker. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Stacey (Allan) Meyette; son, Matthew Cross; sister, Mary Lou (Raymond) Warrick; brother, Eugene Bunker; grandchildren, Becca, Zach, Nick, Chloe, Tyler and Delia; her "other daughter," Laurie Bowes and dearest friend, Claudette Cicora.
The family will receive guests on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial at Calvary Cemetery.
