Judith A. Stachowiak

Judith A. "Judy" Stachowiak, age 57, of Toledo, passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2013. She was born on January 1, 1956 to Harold and Bona (Nicholson) Babcock in Toledo. Judy enjoyed spending time with her family. When she wasn't spending time with her family, she enjoyed reading, crafts and listening to music. Judy liked visiting with seniors and enjoyed the camaraderie that she shared with them.

Left to cherish her memory are her parents; daughters, Laura (Jeremy) Wingate and Heather (Steven) Jeffries; grandchildren, Jessika, Jacob and Evan; sister, Deborah Filas and brother, James Babcock; numerous nephews and nieces and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Stachowiak and many other family members.

The family will receive guests on Monday, October 21, 2013 from 3-7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home on Monday at 7:00 p.m. Interment will take place on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Those wishing to join the family on Tuesday are invited to meet at the front gates of the cemetery at 10:15 a.m.

Memorial Contributions may be made to National Alliance on Mental Illness or to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
