Juanita V. Power

Juanita V. Power, age 95, of Toledo, passed away, Thursday, December 6, 2007 in Concord Care Center. She was born October 16, 1912 to James and Virginia Carpenter in Indiana. One of Juanita's first jobs was at Dana Spicer with her husband Andrew, but when Dana found out she was only 15 years old, she was let go. Andrew continued with Dana for 43 years. Juanita also worked with the former Autolite and Willys Overland companies.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60+ years, Andrew Power and daughter, Sharon Parr. Juanita is survived by her loving children, Norman (Marylynn); Bill; Larry and James (Robin) Power; 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

The family will receive guests Sunday from 6-8:00 p.m. at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will be Monday at 10:00 a.m. at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made to the Toledo Humane Society.
