Juanita (Sulaica) Weyandt

Juanita "Janie" (Sulaica) Weyandt, age 81, of Toledo, Ohio passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2013 in the Lutheran Home of Toledo. She was born May 16, 1931 in Crystal City, Texas to Simon and Teresa (Salazar) Sulaica. Janie was employed by Libbey Glass for over 35 years. She loved to crochet, cook, bake and most of all spending time with her family.

Janie is survived by her daughter, Rosie Weyandt Altman; four grandchildren, six great grandchildren; siblings, Elena Jimenez, Rosalinda (Val) Thayer and Jesse (Janie) Sulaica; sisters-in-law, Joann Sulaica, Vicki Sulaica and Wendy Sulaica. In addition to her parents, Janie was preceded in death by her son, James Martin, daughter, Dolores "Dorie" Weyandt St. John; sister, Mary Trzonkowski, and brothers, Simon Sulaica Jr., Pablo Sulaica.

A Memorial Service will be held Monday, May 6, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Holland Free Methodist Church, 6605 Angola Road, Holland, Ohio 43528.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
