Joyce Mary Peters

Joyce Mary Peters, 82, passed away peacefully at home on March 2, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 17, 1929 to the late Burton and Beatrice Cousino in Toledo, Ohio.

Joyce was a loving mother, wife and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, baking, and being outdoors. Joyce liked spending time at the family's cottage and fishing.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her siblings, Reynold Cousino, Donna Speweik, Robert Cousino and Jerry Cousino. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 60 years, William; children, Kenneth (Beth) Peters, Dennis (Kathy) Peters, Antoinette (Terri) Peters, Pam (Darwin) Watson; siblings, Marion Day, Kenny (Marlene) Cousino, Burt (Glenda) Cousino, Judy (Ron) Eaton, Larry (Teresa) Cousino, Sharon (Joe) Filipovich; grandchildren, Brian, Mark, Kelly, Jeremy, Shannon, Brent, Matthew, Shayna; great-grandchildren, Madelynn, Elijah, Caleb, Aubrey, Gavin and her special loving caregivers of 8 years, Tricia "Teresa" and Sherrie.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Dear family friend, Fr. Thomas Wehinger officiating. Burial at Toledo Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a cancer charity of the donor's choice.
