Joyce F. Jenkins

Joyce F. Jenkins, age 87, of Temperance, MI, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Ridgewood Manor. She was born on September 6, 1934 to Vincent and Hattie (Haywood) Yancey in High Coal, West Virginia. Joyce graduated from Olney High School. She played softball, liked bowling and enjoyed crocheting. Joyce was a longtime member of Toledo 1st Seventh Day Adventist Church. Her smile, spirit and caring nature will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Jenkins. Left to cherish her memory is her loving son, George (Dawn Fryman) Jenkins; sisters, Debbie (Joe) Rizzi and Rosemary McCutcheon; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Northwest Chapel – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Mike Fortune officiating. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
