Joyce S. Conway-Mcmullen
October 29, 1939 — June 15, 2021
Joyce S. Conway-McMullen was one of three children. Born October 29, 1939 to George and Alama Sinclair in Auburn, Alabama. After being born Joyce's parents moved from Alabama to Chicago and continued their travels to Toledo, Ohio where their permanent residence would begin.
After arriving to Toledo, Ohio in 1946 at the age of 7 years old Joyce attended elementary school, junior high school and high school to completion. Her education afforded her the opportunity to become a full-time employee of Toledo Hospital now known as ProMedica Toledo Hospital for more than 40 plus years.
Joyce S. Conway McMullen avidly loved to read, write books and plays and sing at the top of her lungs.
But most of all she loved being a dedicated wife and mother. As Joyce grew older in her years of living here on earth, she came to know and love Jehovah God before her passing.
She leaves to cherish behind her only daughter, Joyce D. Nalls and bonus daughter, Reba Thompson-McMullen. Grandchildren, Katrina R. Conway, Cornelius A. Conway and wife, Ashley Conway. Great grandchildren, Makala R. Conway, Micah R. Conway and youngest, Marissa J. Conway. She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews with lots of love.
Joyce lived a full life and will truly be missed and loved.
The Family will receive guests, Friday, June 25, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Newcomer SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home with Frederick Powell officiating.
