Joyce Bopery, 59, passed away on September 14, 2013 after a courageous 2-year battle with lung cancer. She was born on January 18, 1954 to Marjorie and Wilbur Wohlgamuth in Toledo, Ohio.
Joyce worked in Housekeeping at Lake Park for many years. She and her husband John enjoyed spending time together, especially fishing. Joyce liked to go out to the casino with her children. She also loved to have her grandchildren over. Joyce was a loving, caring wife, mom, daughter, aunt and grandma and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her father and brother, Robert Wohlgamuth. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 40 years, John; children, Chris (Heather), Jennifer and Nicole (fiancé, Brian); brothers, Roger (Stella), Richard (Debbie) and Gary (Margie); grandchildren, Jordan, Brenden, Makenzie, Makayla and Makinley and special niece, Wendy Staifer.
The family will receive guests on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 from 3-5:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). A Memorial Service will begin at 5:00 p.m.
