Joyce Ann Cook, 56, passed away on November 27, 2012. She was born on July 26, 1956 to the late Delphine and Frank Westenkirchner in Toledo, Ohio.
Joyce was a dedicated and loving mother, grandmother, sister and daughter. Her granddaughter, Michaella, was her pride and joy. She adored her "big, loud family", especially cook-outs and holiday get-togethers. Joyce enjoyed working with stained glass and gardening. Joyce was an animal lover; she raised and trained Fjord horses and numerous pets were her constant companions.
In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her loving husband, Mike. Left to cherish her memory are her granddaughter, Michaella; daughter, Heather (Jeff) Sullivan; siblings, David (Robby), Laura (Gene), Paul (Rhina), Frank (Wanda); along with many nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.
Services will be held privately by the family.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the ASPCA, American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, 424 E. 92nd Street, New York, NY 10128.
