Joy Savage

Joy L. Savage, age 71, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2005 at Orchard Villa Nursing Home. She was born on April 6, 1934 to Ralph and Eileen (Bookman) Self in Dixie, Ohio. Joy enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren.
Joy is survived by her loving children: Keith (Ann) Savage and Marsha Cox; grandchildren: Jeremy, Jessica, Brandon, Sarah and Jackson; sister: Gaylaree Hammond; and her best friend: Corrine.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Calvin E. and Larry Lee Self and son-in-law, Ron Cox.
The family will receive guests on Monday, December 19, 2005 in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will take place Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will take place Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. in Graham Cemetery, Wayne, Ohio. Officiating will be Pastor Ron Merritt.
