Joy Lane

Joy A. Lane, age 62, of Lambertville, MI, passed away Monday, September 19, 2005 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo with her loving husband of 45 years by her side. Joy and her twin sister Jeannie were born in Toledo on January 12, 1943. She had been employed by the Tillotson Co. and a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Temperance, MI.
Joy is survived by her husband: William P.; sister: Gail (Jim) Meek; a large extended family of in-laws and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Jean Brown and brother Tabor Barfield.
The family will receive guests on Thursday, September 22, 2005 from 3-8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday at 12:00 p.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 4605 St. Anthony Rd., Temperance, MI 48182. Father Greg Deters will be officiating. Interment will follow in St. Anthony Cemetery.
