Joshua L. Yelverton

Joshua L. Yelverton, age 43, of Lambertville, Michigan was called to his Heavenly home with his Lord on January 20, 2024. He was born on May 16, 1980 in Sylvania, to Joseph and Patsy (Ostrander) Yelverton. Josh was employed with Chrysler/Stellantis for over 16 years in various roles, and he had also volunteered for many years as a fireman with the Bedford Fire Department. He was an avid boater, he loved to be out enjoying the sunshine and the water. From a young age, Josh could regularly be found tinkering on anything with an engine and working with his hands. He loved to spend time with his three children.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Patsy Yelverton; brother, Joseph L. Yelverton; niece, Brittany Yelverton; and grandparents, Joseph and Eleanor Yelverton, Sr and Louis Ostrander. Left to cherish his memory are his father, Joseph B. Yelverton, Jr; children, Madison, Jayce, and Kyleigh; bonus-son, Brayden Brewer; sister, Jeanie (Jay) Swisher; grandmother, Beverly Ostrander; the mother of his children, Jennifer Yelverton; best friend, Ryan Caurdy; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive guests on February 4, 2024 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd, Toledo, where a Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 am on Monday, February 5, 2024. Interment will immediately follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
