Joshua Paul Wilburn

Joshua Paul "Josh" Wilburn, age 34, passed away peacefully in his sleep Tuesday, May 2, 2017. He was born on January 13, 1983 to Ronald and Tamara (Garcia) Wilburn in Toledo. Josh graduated from Columbia High School in 2001 and attended Jackson College. He was an extremely hard worker with many talents including being a certified welder, roofer and auto collision repair. Josh was an avid reader, loved shooting pool and was a diehard fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes. He never hung up the phone without an "I love you" or left your presence without giving a hug, two things that will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to Ronald, he was preceded in death by his grandpa, Everett Riley Wilburn; grandmothers, Naomi Schultz and Ruth Parker; uncles, Randy Wilburn and Ken Pickens; and aunt, Diane Wilburn. Josh is survived by his loving parents, Tammy and Terry Parker; children, Joshua Paul Wilburn II, Lucas Allen Wilburn, Cameron Miller and Averyanna Roe; brother, Justin (Stacy McTaggart) Wilburn; nieces, Arianna and Annabelle Wilburn; grandparents, Carolyn Wilburn and Emmett and Sue Pickens; mother of his children and friend, Crystal Blythe; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Monday, May 8, 2017 from 2 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with a Celebration of Life and a Sharing of Memories at 7:00 p.m. that evening in the funeral home. Interment will be Private at Toledo Memorial Park.
