Joshua A. Marshall

Joshua A. Marshall, age 35, resident of Oregon, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022. He was born on April 4, 1987, in Toledo, Ohio, to Jeffrey and Robin "Shelly" (Bitker) Marshall.

Josh graduated from Start High School and had worked as a manager at Tireman, where he had been employed for over 10 years. He had recently started an apprenticeship for Insulators, Local 45. Josh had a tough exterior, but he was a quiet guy who was the nicest, most selfless person and would help out anybody in need. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and working on and restoring muscle cars. Josh liked to be outdoors, especially camping at his favorite place, Pokagon State Park in Indiana. He had his fair share of "dad jokes" and would share them to anyone around, making them laugh. He was a great dad, son, brother, and friend and he will truly be missed by all who knew him.

Those left to forever cherish his memory are his loving daughter, Julia Marshall; mother, Shelly Marshall; sister, Trisha Vaeyens; niece, Alayna Vaeyens; nephew, Michael Smith; and numerous others' whom he considered family.

Josh was preceded in death by his father, Jeffrey Marshall; brother, Shaun Baker; and maternal and paternal grandparents.

Family and friends may visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 West Laskey Road, Toledo, Ohio 43623, on Saturday, October 1, 2022, from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm. At 4:00 pm, there will be an opportunity to share a special memory about Josh.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in care for his daughter, Julia.
