Joshua James Burchett

Joshua J. "Josh" Burchett, age 33, passed away unexpectedly Monday, November 25, 2013 in his home. He was born on November 16, 1980 to Gary Newton and Garriann Burchett in Monroe, Michigan. Josh was employed with Davie's Tree Service. He loved Nascar, the Detroit Red Wings and Michigan Football. Josh was on a bowling league and liked playing darts at Jerry's Pub. He was a free spirit, loving everything about life and very kind. Josh will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Josh is survived by his loving mother, Garriann (John Hansen) Dalton; sister, Amy (Clinton) Ellsion; brother, Jerry Dalton, III; daughter, Kaily Anderson; significant other, Heather Nickell; step-father, Jerry Dalton, Jr.; special uncle, Danny Dalton; nieces, Taylor, Cecilia and Cassie; nephew, Clinton; and many other family members and dear friends. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandma, Linda Racey; aunt, Tammy Burchett; and papaw, Jerry Dalton, Sr.

The family will receive guests on Sunday from 2 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Springfield Township Cemetery.
