Josephine Krenk

Josephine M. (Semelka) Krenk, age 84 of Sylvania passed away Saturday, June 4th, 2005 peacefully at home, with her son by her side, after a short battle with cancer. She was born May 5th, 1921 to Charles and Josephine Semelka in Toledo. Jo was employed with the Toledo Automobile Dealer Association, Savage Insurance Agency, Toledo Scale Employee Federal Credit Union and the Toledo Scale Society. She was a member of the Sylvania Senior Center, Local #14 Retiree's, Sylvania's China Painting Club, CSA Lodge Maumee #324, Westfield Senior Walkers, Quarter Century Club (Toledo Scale) and Bob Evans Weekly Dinners with Friends. Jo was a special mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She touched so many people's hearts. The loves of her life were her son, Ed, her grandson, J.D., her daughter-in-law Bonnie and her dog, "Gizzmo". Her many talents included stain glass work, china painting and tending to her beautiful flower gardens. She also loved to travel and enjoy dinners with her family and special friends.

In addition to her parents, Jo was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, John G. Krenk and brothers, Carl; Mitch; George and John Semelka. She is survived by her loving son, Ed (Bonnie) Krenk; grandson, J.D.(Kassie Smith) Krenk; sisters, Mildred Evans; Sofie Barton and Marie Soper; nieces , nephews, cousins and step grandchildren, Buffie and Johnny.

At Josephine's request there will be no visitation or services. Instead think of your favorite memory of her and smile.
