Joseph A. Taddonio

May 27, 1981 — May 16, 2023

Joseph Albert "Joe" Taddonio, aged 41, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on May 16th, 2023, leaving behind a profound impact on the lives he touched. Born on May 27th, 1981, in Toledo, Joe was the son of Thomas Taddonio and Debi (Earl) Osburn.

Joe's educational journey led him to St. John's Jesuit High School, where he honed his skills as a member of the rowing team, and later to Sylvania Southview High School, where he proudly graduated in 1999.
Finding his professional calling as a computer-aided designer at American Interiors, Joe's talents extended far beyond his job description. He possessed a remarkable ability to fix anything that crossed his path, making him the go-to person for repairs. Family and friends admired Joe's skillful hands and ingenious solutions, forever grateful for his resourcefulness.

Beyond his work, Joe embraced a world filled with diverse interests and passions. A dedicated fan, he followed the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Detroit Lions and loved gathering with friends and family on game day. Joe's creative spirit found solace in woodworking, where he delighted in crafting beautiful pieces with his own hands. Whether it was a project in his garage or an adventure in the great outdoors, Joe's enthusiasm for camping, cars, and travel knew no bounds. Fueling his insatiable curiosity, he immersed himself in movies, documentaries, and books, finding particular fascination in the captivating narratives of history.

Yet, above all else, Joe cherished his family. His profound love for his wife, Canary, stood as a testament to the depth of his devotion. United in matrimony on October 21st, 2007, they embarked on a journey of shared dreams and cherished moments. When fate dealt them a challenging hand, Joe's incredible love and selflessness shone through. As Canary faced a kidney ailment, Joe stepped forward and as fate would have it, was a perfect match. He selflessly donated his own kidney to save her life. With tenderness and compassion, he cared for Canary during her illness, providing unwavering support. Their time together was cherished and infused with a joy that only true love can bring. Joe's compassion extended to his beloved dogs as well, deeply missing the companionship of those he lost throughout his life, including Bo, Duke, Romeo, Juliet, and Zoe.

Growing up, Joe experienced the joys of a lively childhood surrounded by his brother, Nick, and many cousins. Family barbecues, group vacations, and camping trips created countless moments of fun, laughter, and lasting memories. The bond between the two brothers was an important part of Joe's life.
Joe's vibrant spirit and magnetic personality will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Gathering around his table meant not only savoring his incredible cooking but also basking in his warm smile and genuine loyalty. His profound love for those in his life was evident in every moment shared with friends and family. Joe took great pride in nurturing his nephew, Nicholas, ensuring their bond remained strong. Using his intellect and quick wit, he reveled in spirited debates on a wide array of topics, always engaging those around him.

Left to forever cherish Joe's memory are his beloved wife, Canary (Falkner) Taddonio; his parents, Thomas Taddonio and Debi (Perry) Osburn; his brother, Nick Taddonio; his nephew, Nicholas Taddonio; and his faithful companion, Sadie.

Joe was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Albert and Catherine Earl, and paternal grandparents, Nick and Helen Taddonio.
