Joseph Sawdy

Joseph Kenneth Sawdy, age 47, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away suddenly, Saturday, October 21, 2006 in Hinesville, Georgia. He was born January 7, 1959 to Joseph and Gloria (Lincoln) Sawdy in Toledo. Joey was a self-employed carpenter for many years.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Emerson and Dorothy Lincoln and Kathryn Mories. Joey is survived by his loving family which includes his, mother, Gloria (Colin Tipton) Sawdy; son, Justin Joseph; sisters, Deborah (Richard) Kaczynski; Theresa (George) Boecker; brothers, Christopher and Daniel; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and dear friends. Also surviving is his special friend, Sherry Davis and much loved dog, Peanut.

The family will receive guests Thursday from 3-8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
