Joseph J. "Joey" Rosol. Jr. age 30, of Toledo, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, August 29, 2019 at The Seaman House of Toledo. He was born on November 16, 1988 to Charlene Maves in Portsmouth, Virginia. Joey was a graduate of Rogers High School in 2006. He worked as a janitor at the Sunshine Children's Home for many years and most recently in their greenhouse. Joey liked Ohio State football, watching and going to movies and playing video games. He loved animals especially his dog Molly. He enjoyed bowling, basketball and going to the Metroparks. Joey will forever be remembered for his smile, caring nature and fun spirit. He will live on in our hearts forever and deeply be missed.
He was preceded in death by his mom. Joey is survived by his dad, Joseph Sr. (Pam) Rosol; brother, Charles (Brittany) Rosol; nephew, Casey Rosol; niece, Emma Rosol; aunt, Jo-Ann Rosol-Donohue; and many dear friends at the Sunshine Children's Home and The Lutheran Homes.
The family will receive guests on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 from 1 – 4:00 p.m. at Newcomer – West Sylvania Chapel, 3655 King Rd., Toledo 43617 (419-392-9500). Funeral Services will begin Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Inurnment will be Private at a later date.
