Joseph Reed, age 73, passed away on October 4, 2018. He was born on August 4, 1945 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Josephine and Harold Reed.
Joe retired from GB Manufacturing and worked for most of his career between City Auto Stamping and Riekert Stamping. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 47 years, Ruth; children, Matthew Reed, Jeffrey Reed and Jennifer Reed (Rodney Frohlich); sisters, Sally Gutherie, Esther (Walter) Adams, Linda Holley and Cathy (Mike) Polinski; grandchildren, Anthony, Jacob and Cierra and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive guests on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Burial will take place at Restlawn Memorial Park.
