Joseph N. Bettinger

Joseph N. Bettinger, age 65, of Toledo, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2014. He was born on March 5, 1949 to Hillary and Helen (Myers) Bettinger in Toledo. Joseph retired from the State of Ohio, Department of Taxation and after retirement he worked at The Toledo Zoo warehouse.

He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Bobbie Bettinger; daughters, Lisa Bettinger and Beth (Adam) Frybarger; sisters, Mary Bialecki and Carolyn Edwards. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Frank Bettinger.

The family will receive guests on Friday, March 14, 2014 from 3-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Clement Church, 3030 Tremainsville Rd. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
