Joseph J. Lisowski

Joseph J. Lisowski, age 64, of Toledo, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2017. He was born in Poland to Marion and Lottie (Radwanski) Lisowski on August 19, 1953. Joe was a graduate of St. Francis de Sales where he was his class' salutatorian. He went onto attend the University of Toledo. Following college he worked for Chrysler Jeep Corp. for over 30 years, retiring as a fork lift driver. In his spare time he enjoyed gardening around his home, reading all different kinds of books, golfing, working on muscle cars and spending time with his family. He was an avid fan of the Cleveland Indian's and OSU Buckeye's! Joe had a soft spot for most animals and took great pride in taking care of his dogs.

He is survived by his sister, Barbara (Fabian) Zielinski; brother, Stanley Lisowski; niece and nephews, Paula (David) Miethaner, Mark (Letha) Zielinski, Michael Lisowski and James (Theresa) Lisowski; 6 great-nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Nancy Lisowski and sister in law, Marlene Lisowski.

At Joe's request, his service will be private. He will be laid to rest in Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery.
