Joseph Michael Kusner

Joseph Michael Kusner, age 72, passed away Friday, October 6, 2023 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. The son of Joseph and Laura (Hager) Kusner, he was born September 28, 1951 in Toledo. He was a graduate of Woodward High School. Following graduation, Joseph enlisted in the Army Reserves and was honorably discharged. Joseph married Sharon Badas in 1976 in Toledo. He worked for LOF for a short period of time, later retiring as a Charter Bus Driver. Joseph enjoyed polka music, was an animal enthusiast and was active at St. Adalbert Catholic Church.
He is survived by his daughter, Kristine Kusner; grandchildren, Kaylee Trojacek, Bryce Schultz; sister, Sharon Baker and Michelle (Erik) Fretz. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sharon; daughter, Melanie Kusner and sister, Peggy Bunner.
There will be no visitation and a Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
