Joseph Kerrigan

August 5, 1937 — April 18, 2012

Joseph A. "Joe" Kerrigan, age 74, of Toledo, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at Flower Hospital. He was born on August 5, 1937 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Joe was a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserves. He came to Toledo as area sales manager for an international printing company. Joe was very interested in politics and actively involved with the Lucas County Republican Party. He performed in over 25 productions with the Toledo Rep. Theatre and the Village Players. The role he most treasured was Big Jule in Guys and Dolls. Joe will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 daughter, 4 brothers and 1 sister. Joe is survived by his beloved wife of almost 31 years, Gail; 3 children; 5 grandchildren; and many dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday from 3 – 5:30 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900) with Memorial Services beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Remembrance for Joe at Mass will be on Sunday, April 29, 2012 at St. Martin de Porres Church at 10:30 a.m.
