Joseph John Miller, age 26, passed away in a tragic car accident on August 10, 2013. Joe was born on April 10, 1987 to Teri Najarian and Doug Miller.
He attended St. Patrick's of Heatherdowns and then went on to graduate from Anthony Wayne High School in 2005 where he played both hockey and football. He was a proud Eagle Scout member of Troop 252. Joe most recently worked at Chrysler Jeep Toledo, which was fitting as he had a love for all cars, including Jeeps, and even held the nickname (and license plates) "Joe Jeep." He loved spending time with his big family and his "family" of friends, building and racing cars, aquariums and animals, being outdoors and riding his motorcycle and ATV. Joe will be remembered for his outgoing personality, his big heart and devotion to family and friends, and his radiant smile that will keep his memory always shining in all of our hearts.
Joe was loved by many and is survived by his parents, Teri Najarian (Craig Gaudreau) and Douglas Miller; grandmother, Audrey Miller; aunts and uncles, Kristie (Randy) Ruge, John Najarian and Laura Najarian (John Warren); many cousins, as well as countless family members and friends who loved him dearly. He is also survived by the love of his life, Katie Hoepfl. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Earl Miller and grandparents Hubert & Louise Najarian.
Friends and family may visit from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). A funeral mass will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to: Boy Scout Troop 252 or The Nature Conservancy – Coral Reef Adoption: http://adopt.nature.org/coralreef/
