Joseph A. Jagielski Sr, born on September 11, 1942, in Toledo, Ohio, left this world on March 25, 2025, in Maumee, Ohio. A dedicated family man and a consummate professional, Joseph worked and retired from Chrysler, leaving behind a legacy characterized by hard work and devotion.
Throughout his life, Joseph embodied the spirit of community and mentorship. He took pride in coaching his son's baseball teams, leading them to several championships, and earning the respect and admiration of countless neighborhood children whom he guided and supported. His warm affection extended beyond his home; he was a steadfast presence at his grandchildren’s and great-grandchildren’s sports games, never missing an opportunity to cheer them on.
Joseph’s passions included fishing and breeding and racing pigeons for over 70 years, truly reflecting his love for both nature and sport. He will be remembered not only for these interests but also for the joy he brought to those around him, always welcoming his furry friends, the pigeons, cats named Fireball and Sox, and his cherished dog, Diamond, into his home and heart.
