Joseph Allan Glass

Joseph A. Glass age 79 of Toledo, Ohio passed away on October 17, 2024 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Joe was born in Toledo on December 3, 1944 to Joseph and Dorothy (Seger) Glass.

Joe was employed as a security guard for many years in the Toledo area. He enjoyed fishing, socializing and spending time with his family. 

Surviving is his wife, Carol; grandchildren, Joelin Glass, Dalton Flemmings, Rylan Flemmings and Nathaniel Jones; great-grandchildren, Cater-Rae, Jace and Violet; and a brother, Jim Glass. In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Glass; 1 sister and 2 brothers. 

Family and friends will be received at the Newcomer Funeral Home, (Northwest Chapel) 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo on Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 12:00 pm-4:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio. 

The family would like to thank Bruce, his nurse in Cardiac ICU at St. Anne’s Hospital for the exceptional care he gave to Joe and his family.
