Joseph J. Gercak, age 86, of Toledo, passed away June 27, 2018 at Ohio Veterans Home. Joe was born October 25, 1931 in Rossford to John and Mary Gercak. He was employed with the Libbey Owens Ford until his retirement and was a licensed contractor. Joe was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church, VFW Conn Wisenberger Post, American Legion. Joe also volunteered at the Cosby Botanical Gardens.
He is survived by his children, Mary J. Gercak, Sandra Nasta and Joseph "Jay" R. Gercak, , brothers, John Gercak and Richard Gercak; five grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Jacquelyn "Jacque".
The family will receive guests Friday, July 6, 2018 from 11:00 am until Funeral Mass at 12:00 p.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, 4227 Bellevue. Newcomer - NW Chapel (419) 473-0300.
