Joseph G. Stanley, age 92, passed away on May 4, 2016. He was born on September 27, 1923 to the late George and Viola Stanley in Toledo, Ohio.
Joe was a proud veteran of the US Army. He worked for 39 years at Schindler-Haughton Elevators. Joe met his future wife, Patti there and the two were married on November 24, 1972.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 44 years, Patti; children, Thomas (Sue) Stanley, Cindy (Joe) Licata, Cynthia C. Schwartz and Susan C. (Linda) Chilcote Bagley; sister, Mary Ellen (Lee) Penn; 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded by his brothers, Chester and George.
The family will receive guests from 11-11:30 a.m. on Monday, May 9, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Service will begin at 11:30 a.m. Procession will follow to Toledo Memorial Park.
