Jon A. Reed, age 68, passed away peacefully at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, on August 27, 2022, after a 34 year battle with Parkinson's disease. He was born on October 25,1953, in Toledo, Ohio, to Robert Wells and Theone Loretta (Northington) Reed.
Jon was a truck driver for many years. Jon loved spending time with family and friends, playing ball, round-up and listening to old records. He was an avid Hot Wheels Collector, NASCAR fan, die hard Ohio State Buckeyes fan, and loved anything related to the Civil War.
Those left to forever cherish his memory are his sister, Carol Crawford; special partner, Pam Kassmakis; daughter's at heart, Samantha (Zachary) Smalley and Alexis (Nick) Kassmakis; nephews, Tom (Lisa) Reed, Gary (Vanessa) Reed, Randy (Rita) Reed, Jon (Gina) Reed, Eric (Teresa) Reed, Robert Reed and Scott SinClaire; nieces, Rebecca (William) Hites and Wendy SinClaire. Also, surviving are numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Jon is preceded in death by his father, mother, sisters, Linda and Beverly and brothers Robert and Jeffery.
