Jon W. Nyler, age 74, passed away April 6, 2017. Born September 25, 1942 to the late John and Beverly Nyler.

Jon was a graduate of Whitmer High School, he played football and was on the swim team. Retiree of Ford Stamping-Maumee. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, NASCAR and all sports. Jon was a devoted "Papa" and never missed any of his grandchildren's activities.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 30 years, Pat; children, Dawn (Brett) Cocke, Troy Nyler, Chris (Chris) Ray, Keith (Jeanette) Calipetro, Kerri (Matt) Nicholson; brother, Lynn; sister, Diane; grandchildren, Amanda and Brent Cocke, Ashley, Kody, Jared and Madelyne Nyler, Andria and Jacob Ray, Keith and Nick Calipetro, Bryce and Brooke Nicholson and great-granddaughter, Lilly Dunbar. Preceded in death by, brother, Tim; son, Ken Calipetro.

The family will receive guests Sunday, April 9, 2017 from 2 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Monday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Roth Cemetery-Monclova, Ohio.
