Johnnie Marie Johnson

Johnnie Marie Johnson, age 83, resident of Holland, Ohio, passed away on December 25, 2020. She was born on August 4, 1937, in Lenoir City, Tennessee, to the late Samuel and Lucinda (Galyon) Miller. Johnnie, who was a dedicated hard worker, enjoyed taking care of her family. She liked to cook and garden and also liked to attend Monclova Baptist Church.

Those left to forever cherish her memory are her husband of 66 years, Jack Johnson, whom she married on June 10, 1954; four children, Ruth Johnson, Denise (Rick) Born, Jacqui (David) Tate, and Ray (Tammy) Johnson; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Johnnie was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.

Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, January 5, 2021, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo, Ohio, 43614, from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm, where the funeral service will be at 12:00 pm, with Pastor Oscar Velazquez officiating. Burial will take place at Highland Memory Gardens in Waterville, Ohio.

For the safety of the Johnson family and their guests, masks are required along with social distancing.
