John Wilson

John "Dave" Wilson, 66, of Alvordton, passed away on November 19, 2013. He was born on November 20, 1946 to the late Geneva and Herbert Wilson in Appleton, Tennessee.

Dave retired from Metaldyne in Edon, Ohio where he worked as a Machinist. He was a proud Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Dave was an avid fisherman and an excellent cook. He was a member of Madison Church of God. Dave will be remembered for his generosity and his kindred spirit.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 8 years, Trinidad; step-children, John and Deanna; brother, Ray (Judy); sisters, Betty (John) Maxy and Brenda (Bob) Ressler; favorite uncle, Buddy and many other dear relatives.

The family will receive guests on Sunday, November 24, 2013 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Friends and Family may visit from 9-11:00 a.m. prior to the Service. Burial at Restlawn Memorial Park.
