John B. Whaley, Jr.

January 31, 1965 — March 21, 2020

John B. "Jay" Whaley, Jr., age 55, of Delta, passed away peacefully Saturday, March 21, 2020 at St. Luke's Hospital with his loving family by his side. He was born on January 31, 1965 in Toledo. He owned and operated Whaley & Son Collision, which has been in the family for 40 years. Jay loved the outdoors, especially camping, fishing, hunting and sitting by a campfire with friends and family. He enjoyed four-wheeling in southern Ohio. Jay use to build and race dirt track cars for many years. His smile and spirit will be missed by all who knew him.

Jay is survived by his loving wife of almost 34 years, Kelly Whaley; children, Jennifer and J.B. Whaley; parents, Jay and Alice Whaley; sister, Wendy Whaley; brother-in-law, Todd (Patty) Larnhart; and many nieces, nephews, great niece and great nephews and too many close friends to name.

Services for Jay will be Private for Family due to the current environment surrounding the coronavirus.
