John Wallace Vance III, age 48, of Toledo, Ohio passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020. He was born in Fremont, Ohio on February 24, 1972.
John worked for Rail Road Industry for many years. He held positions at Norfolk Southern, Amtrak, and Watco Ann Arbor Rail Road. John enjoyed his career and held the people he worked with in high regard. He was known for standing strong in his faith to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and dedicated every facet of his life to humbly serving Christ. John had a deep love for his family, he would pray often for their well being and safety. He made sure to be involved with every aspect of his families' spiritual, physical, and emotional growth. John loved vacationing with his wife Julie, and family in the Mountains of Tennessee. He will be remembered for his priorities: God first, Family second, and Career third.
Left to cherish John's memory is his wife, of 23 years, Julie Vance; children, Brandon, Madison (John), Hayden, Julian, Ryvan and Olivia; grandchildren, Johnny and Jess; mother, Judy (Ken); siblings, Joshua (Angel) and Erin (Ryan); and many nieces and nephews. John was preceded in death by his father, John W. Vance II.
Family will be receiving guests from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. Toledo, Ohio 43614 (419 381 1900). Funeral Service will begin at 3:00 P.M. on Monday, December 21, 2020 at the Funeral Home.
