John A. Trznadel, age 71 of Lambertville, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 surrounded by his loving family at Mercy St. Anne Hospital. He was born August 20, 1939 to Anthony and Helen (Quader) Trznadel in Toledo. John married Veronika E. (Haydt) Trznadel in Berlin, Germany and they spent 46 years together. He served in the U.S. Army and retired from Dana Corporation after 30 years of service. John's true passion was building hot rod cars, especially his 57' Chevy, which he was so meticulous about. It was never, "fast enough or good enough." He was also a member of Pacers Car Club. His family will miss him and his great sense of humor.
Preceding him in death were his parents. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Veronika; daughter, Yvonne (Tom) Shoneberger and sisters, Gertrude Hayden and Anna Ortman; "adopted sons," Robert Jordin and Dana Osborne and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
The family will receive guests Friday from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Sharing of Memories will begin in the funeral home Friday at 7:00 p.m.
