John Edward Siegel, Iii

John E. "Jack" Siegel, III, age 68, of Toledo, passed away September 6, 2017. Jack was born March 27, 1949 in Toledo to John and Grace (Pearson) Siegel, Jr. He was a 1967 graduate of Bowsher High School. Jack then studied Commercial Art at Ferris State University. He remained in that profession, including owning his own sign company in Auburn Hills. Jack retired from Franklin Park Mall in 2012. He loved fishing, carpentry, oil painting (landscapes) and travel.

Jack is survived by his children, Julie (Brian) Chouinard, J. Scott Siegel and Brian Siegel; sisters, Jill E. (Dr. Robert) Blair and Mary Jane "Mimi" (Chuck) Berkau; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Nolan, Cameron, and Christian; and nieces and nephews, JoEllen (Craig) Harris, Justin Campbell, Megan (Jeff) Mahl and Logan (Casey) Berkau.

In addition to his parents, Jack is preceded in death by Abby Lynn Connors.

The family will receive guests Saturday, September 16, 2017 from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Saturday at 1:30 pm. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Toledo Museum of Art in Jack's memory.
