John M. "John John" Rouse, III

John M. “John John” Rouse, III age 39, of Toledo, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at Mercy St. Anne’s Hospital with his loving mom by his side. He was born on September 15, 1984 to John M. Jr. and Parthenia (Harrison) Rouse in Toledo. John graduated from Start High School and attended Owens Community College for Culinary Arts. He was an excellent cook, very artistic and could draw just about anything. John loved anime and was a huge gamer. He played sports growing up mostly football. John had a great sense of humor and was a big jokester. He liked spending time with his family and friends. John’s smile, spirit and caring nature will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him. 

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clenora and Earnest Brown and Eugene “Gino” Harrison. Left to cherish John’s memory are his loving mother, Parthenia Turner; grandmother, Frances Scisum; brother, Edwin (Christina) Cathey; sisters, Nicole Cathey, and Sheiliece Rouse; aunts, Eugenia Bynum, Sheila Rouse, Kathy (Sam) Terry, and Sambretha Bailey; uncle, Donnell Rouse; great-nephew, Kasyn Riley; and several more nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. 

The family will receive guests on Saturday, August 10, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with Funeral Services beginning at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
