John S. Robinson, Sr.

John S. "Jack" Robinson, Sr., age 83, of Toledo, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2022. He was born on July 1, 1939 to James W. II and Grace (Hall) Robinson in Toledo. Jack graduated in 1957 from DeVilbiss High School. He attended the University of Toledo and was a member of Theta Chi Fraternity. Jack was a member of Faith United Lutheran Church. Throughout his career Jack worked in retailing including Lamson's and LaSalle's being the two main ones before retirement. He enjoyed time with friends and family, had a great sense of humor and looked forward to Sunday dinners. Jack's smile, spirit and caring nature will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded also in death by his step-mother, Evelyn Robinson; and brother, James Robinson, III. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 58 years, Nancy Robinson; sons, James W. (Joy) Robinson, IV and John S. Robinson, Jr.; half-brother, Michael (Kathy) Robinson; half-sister, Mary Ann "Annie" Herron; grandchildren, Cameron, Cayden, Chase, and Alivia; great-grandson, Leo; and many nieces, and nephews.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Faith United Lutheran Church, 4543 Douglas Rd., Toledo, OH 43613 with Funeral Services beginning at 12:00 p.m. in church. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
